Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgiving and change ordinary opportunities into blessings .March 19th ,2020 was a great day for us to rejoice specially for the sisters at Theresapura community .The dream, to have a residence of our own was actualized on this day. Most Rev. Dr. Anthony Swamy Bishop of Chikkamanglore blessed the convent, invoked God’s blessing on all those residing in this home and Sr.Agnes the Provincial Superior inaugurated the new convent building by cutting the Ribbon. We hope that this new house of God which is named as St.Rossello’s Convent will stand erect for many years to come giving the light, peace and joy of Christ to this non-Christian area. After the blessing the gathering was invited to proceed to the new chapel for the celebration of holy Eucharist. Bishop Dr. Anthony Swamy along with Rev. Fr. Patrick the director of Theresapura Ashram and Rev. Fr.Felix the Procurator ,Chikkamangalore diocese blessed the new alter .The very sight of this new chapel raises our soul to the presence of God and enables us to experience the realms of God . After the Eucharistic celebration we had a small felicitation program. Sr.Agnes our Mother Provincial expressed the words of gratitude to the Godhood company members whose efforts and hard works fulfilled our dream of having a new convent. “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad” this was our hearts melody on the day of our perpetual profession, on 24th June. This was the happiest, joy filled and grace filled day for Sr.Sinju Nelson, Sr.Bhagya, Sr.Liya, Sr.Mereena, Sr.Rajakumari and Sr.Shanthi, a memorable day to entire Rossellian family especially to our Indian province .News / Events
